Dawson grew up in an inner city California, where he attended Lakewood. He was a teenager, overweight and would not get much further than his alcoholic father, intimidated, smashed, then left the family. He lost the last hundred and fifty pounds. He used to add Jenny Craig along with his mother and his brother, but was unemployed when he uploaded a video of himself to pole dance in the building he worked in.
